Mr. Subash Chandra Nemwang was born on March 11, 1953 in Suntalabari 2, Illam district. He graduates from the Tribhuvan University in Law and Arts . He has served as a senior lawyer for many years. He was unanimously elected the chairperson of the Constituent Assembly on July24,2008. Before this , he was appointed as the speaker of the interim parliament on April 1, 2007.
Before assuming the post of the speake , he was a member of the central committee of the Nepal Communist Party , (UML). Mr. Subash Chandra Nemwang was appointed the speaker after the reinstatement of the House of Representatives .
Mr. Subash Chandra Nemwang is very gentle and highly skilled in solving all kind of conflicts using logical thinking. He has got a very rare quality of addressing different conflicting issues amicably.
